  • Volunteers in Public Schools (ViPS) was founded in 1972 to provide assistance to teachers and other staff members of the Little Rock School District by promoting school volunteerism. ViPS serves as a link between the District and the community while providing patrons and citizens an opportunity to be significantly involved in the education of children.

During the 2016-2017 school year, thousands of volunteers contributed a total of 863,129 hours with an estimated value over $20 million! (The total includes district-wide service and reports received after March 14.)

Congratulations to Greta Freeman, 2017 Jane Mendel Award recipient.

LRSD celebrates volunteerism!  Take a look.
